Michele Frazier has worked earnestly and passionately as an educational consultant for over 20 years. The once well-known public school teacher is now an educational adolescent mentor and life coach for the children who are struggling with life, home and school.
Because of the incredible success of her mentor program and the overall achievements seen in children enrolled into the program, Ms. Frazier has built a steadily growing business of mentoring adolescents that has become incredibly popular in the United States.
Be that as it may, Ms. Frazier does her finest to congratulate all children who are either coming into the program as new pupils or exiting the program as successful graduates. While students are coached on life skills and educated further after school hours to improve their academic performance, the highly successful consultant of education understands that the first step of success on the path to a new change in life is the hardest.
What was your best/favorite subject in school?
When I was in school, I loved reading, grammar and English.
What was your first job?
I worked in the food service as a waitress.
Where and how did you first get into the industry you currently work in?
I realized a student in my class was failing terribly. I called his parents and told them about the matter at hand and offered to tutor and mentor him after school hours. The rest is history.
How have those jobs prepared you for what you do now?
Being a waitress taught me to have patience and understanding when dealing with other people.
Describe the best day of work you’ve ever had.
It snowed and the school called for an early release!
How do you keep yourself motivated?
Knowing what the children I work with are capable of is what puts a smile on my face. Knowing that I can positively influence them is what keeps me going.
What kind of business ideas excite you most?
I like the idea of being responsible for the success of the world’s next Bill Gates. I know if I continue to expand my business and mentorship services, I’ll change the right person’s life.
Have you ever tried any unorthodox techniques to attract attention to your business?
I’ve never needed to try anything new to increase business. The thing that brings more success I’ve found is being successful in what you’re doing. The children I mentor are making huge improvements. Results sell themselves.
What personal achievement are you most proud of?
I’m glad I stepped forward that day and asked the student and his parents if I could mentor him rather than feeling sorry for him and being too selfish to do anything.
What wisdom you would have liked to share with yourself when you first started out?
Shake a hand, change a life. You never know who needs what you can offer.
