John Anderson is a property investor from the Mornington Peninsula in Australia and his the founder and owner of Freedom360, an educational property investing business. Through Freedom360, Mr Anderson works very closely with property gurus such as Todd Polke and Nhan Nguyen. He loves sharing his property investing ideas and resources with his community of thousands of other property investors across Australia. Mr. Anderson is currently completing a renovation project. In his spare time, Mr. Anderson is a devoted family man to his wife and two children and enjoys walking along the beach near his home.
What was your best/favorite subject in school?
My best subject in school was English. I have always enjoyed writing as I come from a family of writers and authors.
What was your first job?
My first job was as a lifeguard.
Where and how did you first get into the industry you currently work in?
I was in copyright marketing. I worked with hundreds of companies in the property marketing industry. Some were good, others were not so good, but I learned from all of them.
How have those jobs prepared you for what you do now?
Those jobs have prepared me because I have a vast expertise and property investment strategies. I also know what works and what doesn’t work from working behind the scenes with so many property gurus.
Describe the best day of work you’ve ever had.
It’s always a good day when we are able to impact a large amount of property investors through our educational conferences.
How do you keep yourself motivated?
I keep myself motivated through daily exercise and walking along the creek near my home. I also do meditation which keeps my stress levels low and my energy levels high.
What kind of business ideas excite you most?
I like business ideas that serve the most amount of people. I also like business ideas that can be promoted to a large market with a self-liquidating product and scalable traffic sources.
Have you ever tried any unorthodox techniques to attract attention to your business?
I haven’t done anything unorthodox to attract people to my business, but maybe one day I will.
What personal achievement are you most proud of?
I’m really proud of my two children that are doing really well in school and in life.
What wisdom would you have liked to share with yourself when you first started out?
To get out there and stay moving around each day because that is what helps keep your energy to stay high.
